Arland's father built Indy. race cars and Arland grew up in the race machine world.  We are not sure how he got into v-drive boats but are glad he did.  

A friend ran a Kurtis hull ("Disco Lady") in the late 70s and won the River Racer class in 1979.  Below are photos of Ray Jones and his Kurtis as well as some others boats we have managed to find.
